2007 kia sorento review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The kia sorento is a mid-size suv that packs a big v6 engine. It's built like a truck, with a separate truck-style frame, but it maintains a civil attitude on the pavement. One is a 4wd on demand system and the other is an all-wheel drive type of system that transfers power to different wheels when it senses loss of traction. 16-inch wheels connect the sorento to the road. It is powered by a 262 hp 3. 8-liter v-6 and mated to a five-speed automatic with sequential-shifting mode. Kia discontinued the sorento's five-speed manual. For 2007, the kia sorento receives a power increase and some additional safety features.
